BIRDS WORLDWIDE Provides you all the information you want on birding, bird distribution, and ways to enjoy your passion for birdwatching. There are several thousands of pages. Click here for the site map
This section lists references on bird publications composed by Douglas J. Graham, who for many years reviewed literature from different sources, totaling 1300 references to books and articles on bird lists, bird guides, and bird findings in 3 web pages. The references are in alphabetical order by author but each includes the full content of fields such as keywords and all the usual bibliographic information. Many include Douglas' own personal comments in a comments field. We felt that this information may probably benefit researches in their quest for literature. We put them on the web in a format that can be easily copied from the web page. We are still working at providing a better presentation and a file for downloading from the net. Thanks Douglas for a great contribution. I
am sure many researchers may benefit from
this! Douglas Graham is task manager at the World Bank for a variety of conservation projects in Vietnam. His important work does not allow him to dedicate as much time to his passion of birding as he would wish. Anybody that would like to continue his work on recording ornithological references is welcome to take up where Douglas has stopped. He or she would get a next page in which his/her work would be posted under his/her name. |

NATURE WORLDWIDE is the official website of the World Institute for Conservation and Environment, WICE. It is an integrated network of web sites dealing with different topics on nature, nature conservation and natural resources management. Read here why we created Nature Worldwide. Our Methodology explains how we produced our information. Our Site Map helps you find your way in the website. We made this website out of passion for conservation. We spent our own salaries and free time to gather the information and publish it on these websites, in total valuing hundreds of thousands of dollars of professional time. Nobody pays us to do this. We simply want to contribute to conservation. If you appreciate our work, PLEASE visit our site Adopt A Ranger and see how you can make a difference for conservation most effectively: By paying one day of the salary of a ranger, you will make a difference in conserving the lives of thousands of birds, other critters and entire forests. Enjoy.
